Job coaching seen from an autism point of view
The number of students with autism is increasing. Because the study load has increased in recent years, students with autism more often indicate that they need additional guidance. Fontys anticipates this with the pilot ‘Autismetalent benutten’ (‘Deploying autism talent’), together with the municipality of Eindhoven and the organisation Autismepunt. In this pilot, four job coaches guide thirteen students with autism from the moment that they start their internship up and until the moment that they find and keep a job.
