RLLY

Fontys ICT students, Quincy, Justin, Timo, Sjoerd, Roel, and Pepijn, took first place at the Rail Cargo RLLY-evenement in Rotterdam.
During the rail days, Rail Cargo Information Netherlands organised the first ''Rail Cargo Rally''. Students travelled by train across the country to visit unique places and carry out creative assignments.
Quincy: "Our strong ICT background gave us a clear advantage, especially when using the app. We were one of the few teams that managed to meet the finishing time."
The event provided valuable learning opportunities as they were able to learn a lot about the digital opportunities in the railway sector. Sjoerd: "This event opened our eyes to the immense possibilities of ICT in the Dutch train transport system. We have also already made some great new connections via LinkedIn."
The win? Putting a puppet in Mini World and access to places normally closed to the public. It was also a good time for the students to get to know each other better, as they were only at the end of the second week of study.
