Two students of FHICT Tilburg organised the FHICT Blockchain/Crypto meetup on Wednesday 20 June. The event began at 4 pm in the OIL in Tilburg.
An easy explanation of Blockchain technology was given. After having gained some preliminary knowledge, Sebastiaan Verdonk, finalist of the Blockchaingers Hackathon 2018 & winner ICTalent Awards 2018, spoke about his experiences with Blockchain and his FinTech start-up RetireMe.
The meetup ended with drinks where a number of hands-on Blockchain demonstrations were available.
