Steve Thijssen wins 1st prize at VivaTech 2018

Our "Hackathon master" Steve Thijssen (in the meantime, FHICT alumnus and working at the Volksbank) won the challenge of the greatest Tech Event in Europe, VivaTech 2018! This with, among others, FHICT student Toon van Strijp. Their winning idea is an app that translates sign language into spoken text with emotion recognition live. Toon, Steve and fellow candidates: congratulations! We are proud!
